Alice, tea time

Will you take the time to drink some tea? Mmh not sure...
I had the opportunity to test a 50mm lens (EF50mm II), got it from a friend of mine who lent it to me; it's pure goodness for shallow depth of field (max f/1.8), the background got blurred out tremendously well.
These 2 miniatures are Disney miniatures (duh, quite obvious I guess), the light source in the background is a small Ikea rubber lamp :-) and behind the lamp, synthetic cherry blossoms.
All these details are fading away in the depth of field but that's one thing you look for when shooting at a small aperture value (f/1.8)... Enjoy!

Backlight horse silhouette

France, Arriège region, a beautiful backlight horse silhouette during a spring end of day.

A few coins for an enchantment

Little walk on a local market in Saint-Girons, Midi-Pyrénées. The streets are crowded, there's a magical air... in the air; some are walking, some are just contemplating, discussing while others are playing an instrument and livening up the streets and that to the delight of our ears... and eyes!

Here, a pan flutist straight out of a fairy tale, half-way between mankind and animals... a combination that will enchant you. Street photography is fun and varied. Get yourself comfortable, sit on a bench, on a street corner, aside or simply have a walk and chase images, they're at the tip of your lens. And as you progress in hunting photos, treasures will be revealed.

Fievel

Fievel, finally looking at the lens! (with a broken mustache)
